Statistics: Russian restaurants revenue rises 3.6% in August

MOSCOW, Oct 1 (PRIME) -- Revenue of the Russian restaurant and catering industry grew 3.6% on the year and 3.7% on the month to 141.7 billion rubles in comparable prices in August, the Federal State Statistics Service reported on Tuesday.

In January–August, revenue rose 4.8% to 1.042 trillion rubles.

The service also improved its estimates for the sector’s revenue growth in April to 6.6% from 6.2% in annual terms, in May to 4.7% from 4.3%, in June to 2.9% from 2.5%, and in July to 2.9% from 2.7%.
